Vuma Hills Tented Camp is situated an 18-minute drive from Kikiboga airstrip within Mikumi National Park. This airstrip is served by daily flights from various locations across Tanzania and Zanzibar, making the camp just a 10-minute drive away. Elevated above the treetops, the camp offers stunning views of the vast wilderness to the southwest of Mikumi National Park. Providing a refreshing escape from the heat after a day’s safari, Vuma Hills is nestled within the Vuma Mountains and overlooks the Mkata Plains below.

The camp features sixteen well-appointed tents, transforming the traditional camping experience into a comfortable stay. Each tent includes a shaded wooden veranda at the front and en suite bathroom facilities at the back, ensuring a high level of comfort. The central area of the camp includes a dining space and a cozy bar, both centered around a crackling log fire. This area opens onto a spacious deck where guests can enjoy sunsets over the Mkata Plains.
