Lake Chala
A crater lake that is located between the borders of Tanzania and Kenya formed hundreds of thousands of years ago on the eastern end of the Kilimanjaro, this spot is one of the less know gem entirely fed by the underground springs that flows from the Mt Kilimanjaro. The lake is surrounded by diverse plants, trees, birds, and other wildlife. The place is a real awesome for travellers who like panoramic views and quiet recreation. While at the lake Chala you can enjoy Canoeing for at-least an hour where you will have a special view to the crater rim, see birds and with a bit luck Blue Monkeys playing around among the trees at the shore.
