Jabali Ridge Lodge is situated 155 kilometers from Nduli Airport in Iringa, a scenic 3.5-hour drive away, or about 50 minutes from Msembe Airstrip within Ruaha National Park. This elegant camp is positioned on a rocky kopje, offering panoramic views of the Mwagusi River and the Ikuka Escarpment, with breathtaking vistas of the Ruaha savannah. The lodge operates from June to mid-March and closes during the rest of the year for essential renovations and maintenance. It welcomes families with children aged 5 and older.
The camp features eight expansive, elevated suites nestled among massive granite boulders. Each suite is designed with a spacious, airy feel, featuring bird-nest thatched roofs and sliding wooden shutters that open up the rooms. The suites offer king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and rain showers. On the deck, guests can relax on large cushioned benches, sipping coffee or a cold drink while enjoying views of the golden plains and ancient baobab trees. Hammocks on the wooden decks provide a perfect spot to unwind with a book. The camp’s infinity pool, overlooking the vast plains, is ideal for cooling off with a drink, or guests can visit the spa for a soothing hot-stone massage after a day of exploring the bush. Safari activities include tracking lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, kudu, sable and roan antelopes, elephants, giraffes, bat-eared foxes, and over 570 bird species. As the sun sets over Ruaha, guests can enjoy a refreshing G&T and a delicious al fresco dinner under the stars. Jabali Ridge offers various experiences such as guided walking safaris, night game drives, in-suite spa treatments, hot air balloon safaris, and daytime game drives.
