A perfect place on earth with crystal clear water, this place has few names from Kikuletwa hot spring, Rundugai hot spring and or Chemka hot spring, (Maji Moto) a traditional Swahili name for this place. It is an ideal place to recover from multi-day tours and long hiking trips. This natural oasis is almost two-hour drive from Arusha and approximately 71 kilometers, it is about an hour drive from Moshi town Centre on a private vehicle, it is absolutely a gem in Tanzania that you should never miss paying a visit while on a Tanzania trip. Its warm water flows underground from the Mount Kilimanjaro and forms a clear and clean pond ideal for swimming allowing you to swing and jump deep from higher trees around this place as the pond is very deep up to 10 meters at some places, its water is so clear that you can see the bottom well all the time. This place allows you to spend a relaxing full day under the lush green trees with some important sites for picnic and BBQ within the area.
