Frequently Ask Questions
The safari vehicles are differently designed with different passengers carrying capacity. If your option is to join an open group or private Tanzania safari trip, there could be up to 5 or 7 Maximum travelers in one vehicle
There is no minimum or maximum age limit on safaris, and we are happy to organize itineraries suitable for family safaris though some lodges and camps do have age limit and do not accept children below the age of 6 years, this means your accommodation choices are immediately restricted to the few places that don't have age restrictions in place
Your Tanzania safari package will include a combination of many things to build up a total cost, in this case all meals while on your safari expedition are included in your package price with the exception of some meals like breakfast and or lunch on your first day, and dinner on the last day
The safari vehicles do have limited space, you are advised to bring a maximum of 15kg luggage in a soft bag or rucksack. In addition to this, you can also bring one small bag for personal belongings like cash, cameras, phones, travel documents, and other small belongings
Majority of Tanzanians uses shillings in daily normal life basis; however, major foreign currencies particularly USD ¬and EUROS are accepted and are convertible at the banks in the main towns and tourist areas. You are advised to carry American dollars and the best exchange rate is obtained at banks in the cities (Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro (Moshi), Zanzibar) and at all the international airports
Tipping is a customary practice within the tourism industry in Tanzania. While we pay fair and ethical salaries and allowances to our staffs, they do also expect tips as part of their income but this shouldn't be a must do.
The foreign nationals will require a tourist visa to enter Tanzania and there two ways that you can obtain your visa to Tanzania, Online Visa Platform and On-Arrival Visa Platform. This means after introducing an online visa system in Tanzania, you will no longer be able to obtain visa at the embassy.
As you begin planning for your Tanzania trip it is advisable to take a few health precautions when or before travelling to make sure your trip goes as comfortably, relaxing, and smoothly as possible. Tanzania has a tropical climate and different weather that most visitors are accustomed to, you may need to get various vaccines to protect you in terms of any emergency.
