Esirai Camp tracks the magnificent wildebeest herds as they traverse the Serengeti, witnessing Nature’s Greatest Show on Earth. The camp’s location shifts with the seasonal weather and herd movements. During the rainy season, the herds graze and calve on the Southern plains, building strength before migrating northward in May. By the end of the year, they begin their journey back south. This mobile camp offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in the 600-kilometer migration, following the wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes on their traditional routes from the Southern plains to the Mara River crossing in the north.

The camp features eight mobile tents set amidst the shade of large trees, providing stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. Each tent is equipped with spacious, comfortable beds, bedside tables with reading lights, folding campaign-style luggage racks, cupboards, and carpeted floors. The en-suite bathrooms include a folding campaign-style dressing table, a basin, a towel rack with three sizes of high-quality towels, and safari toilets. Committed to eco-friendly practices, the camp operates on solar power and uses other sustainable methods. Safari showers are available at all times.

Two interconnected tents are ideal for families of up to five, allowing easy movement between them without stepping outside. The camp offers attentive service and delicious local cuisine. Evenings conclude with a sundowner and a hearty dinner prepared by your private chef. Gather around the campfire to share stories before heading to your tent, lulled to sleep by the distant roars of lions. The camp’s central hub includes a mess tent, an adjoining library tent, and an outdoor fire pit. The library tent provides a serene space for reading or playing table games, with a solar charging station available. Guests can enjoy communal dining, gathering around the fire for sundowners and snacks before a formal dinner.
