This safari allows you to discover the beauty of northern Tanzania; the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara national park and Tarangire national park, giving you the opportunity to see large herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest the big five animals as well as cheetah, incredible bird life local community and much more. Every year in this region, herds of wildebeest and zebra embark on a long-distance migration that coincides with the annual rain fall patterns and grass growth.

  • Day 1: Kilimanjaro Int. Airport To Tarangire National Park

    Early morning picks up at the Kilimanjaro international airport in Kilimanjaro and we will head off to Tarangire National Park via Arusha city, Tarangire national park is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds at it best visiting time during the dry season between July to October. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. After game drive in the late afternoon or in the evening, we head off to Karatu at Farm of dreams Safari lodge for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2: Karatu / Mto Wa Mbu To Serengeti National Park (Game On Route

    Today our company driver will pick you from your accommodation after breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful landscapes of Ngorongoro conservation area Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park enroute to your tented lodge for your accommodation in Serengeti national park.

  • Day 3: Full Day Game Drive In Serengeti National Park

    In the morning After you have had breakfast, enjoy full day game drive around Serengeti national park allowing you to have unlimited views of what Serengeti can offer to you, The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June - November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard. These months are also great to see the huge herds of Wildebeests mixed with zebra on a seasonal migratory in the Serengeti national park.

  • Day 4: Serengeti National Park– Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch for a final game drive in Serengeti national park. After lunch, we will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater via Oldupai gorge (optional with extra cost). As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater rim, the crater appears half a mile below, inviting you to gaze at this jaw dropping natural wonders. “Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest”. Here you will get out of the safari jeep to enjoy the view along the crater rim if time allows. Afterwards, you will proceed to the lodge for evening leisure and hot dinner.

  • Day 5: Half Day Game Drive In Ngorongoro Crater

    After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which includes lions, zebras, flocks of flamingos, elephants, giraffes just to mention a few. Ngorongoro is often referred as the eighth natural wonder, it has been listed as a UNESCO site which is considered the most beautiful and unique place in Africa where man and wildlife stays together in one area, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will stop at a nice picnic area for our lunch break and there after we continue with game drive if time allows to do so while heading off the crater ready to transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro international airport to catch your flight back home in late evening time.
